Setting: If you take the Hood River Bridge from the Oregon side, be prepared for the narrowest bridge you’ve ever seen, Lots of traffic, we had to hug the Yellow line and our mirror was mere inches from the rail when passing oncoming cars, thank goodness we did not met one of the many trucks that cross here, it’s a real white knuckle experience.  It is much better to approach from the Dalles or Cascade locks . The train and highway at the park are noisy but were expected. It looks like there are some permanent residents but they are very neat and tidy. The WI fi and AT&T worked great. The staff very kind and friendly.
