Setting: This is an older state park with one upgraded RV campground and one older one that was a bit more cramped. We had a bit of confusion on the site checking in, but campground hosts were right there to straighten it out. A great biking trail runs right through the park letting you get a 30 mile ride if you want. Or you can ride to nearby good restaurants, or take a vehicle into New Orleans across the lake. It is very quiet and peaceful. But they need to work on the signs out front, and there is a lot of highway construction that makes getting there a bit difficult.
