Setting: Nice state park, close to Cottonwood, AZ with 3 main Loops, paved roads and sites . There are electric and water hookups but no sewage however there is a dump station near the park entrance. We stayed in site 103 in the Cooper Hawk loop. This is a upper loops (Red-Tail Hawk and Cooper’s Hawk) on a hill where you get good views of the nearby towns, including Cottonwood and Jerome. The park has plenty of trails, access to the Verde River, and lagoons.
