Setting: This property was originally opened and operated as a KOA. It was mismanaged and poorly operated so eventually KOA pulled the franchise and the business failed. Jim and Shirley Shotwell bought the property in 2006 and began the process of successfully rebuilding a broken business.
The Nugget RV Park is a nice, clean and well keep that is a Top Rated Good Sam Parks. There are actives within the park to include an old west town, horseshoes, hiking trails and a driving range. We would stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.
